The Radaman Song – Love You Anyway

A Personal Love Song Reframed Through A Virtual Voice
Pasquale Paz Ferrone first imagined Julian Lennon singing “Love You Anyway”. Written after a painful love affair, the song drew inspiration from Lennon’s “Saltwater”, even prompting Ferrone to consider sending over a demo. “When I wrote this song, I heard him singing it,” Ferrone recalls.
The Radaman Song gives that composition another identity. For the Women First album project, Ferrone reinterprets human-written songs through female voices, using virtual performers and AI-generated vocal and instrumental performances under his production direction. The songwriter’s story remains at the centre while its delivery shifts perspective. This is the third single connected to that project, following “Love Twice” and “Some Part of You”. The pop setting lets an older personal experience find a different voice, with Ferrone’s writing linking the remembered relationship to its present interpretation.

Suzy’s Field – Where Do You Go?

Seventies Groove With A Spooky Streak
Michael McDonald-style vocal harmonies and Nile Rodgers-inspired guitar set the reference points for Suzy’s Field “Where Do You Go?” The Cork City band calls it “throwback spooky funk”: smooth voices and rhythmic detail with a Halloween streak. Its seventies influences lend the single a familiar pulse, while the spooky undertow opens a slightly stranger corner of that musical past.
The three O’Keeffe brothers recorded the song during a February 2026 residential session at Migration Studios, a converted farm and recording studio in Gloucestershire, where they laid down six tracks. Additional overdubs and mixing followed in their home studios. The band’s releases stretch back to 2003, but this recording takes shape around the shared time of a retreat, then the work of finishing those recordings at home.
