Re-Releases, Visual Art, and a Multidimensional Creative Chapter

Ripsime returns with renewed clarity, revisiting and reshaping earlier chapters of her catalogue through the re-release of I’ll Understand, Dare, and Colors of Your Eyes. The project arrives alongside the launch of her independent imprint, RIP Records, and a limited-edition art print, marking a significant step toward consolidating her creative output under one self-defined ecosystem.

“It’s been a long time coming,” Ripsime shares. “Everything I’ve done – from the art to the music – has been self-made, and I just wanted a little space, a container for that, so that eventually I can support artists and friends that I love. Building community and a space is so important for me – but for now, I’m the guinea pig.” The statement speaks to the ethos behind RIP Records: a home for multidimensional creation, rooted in autonomy, care, and long-term vision.

The re-releases breathe new life into her earlier songs, reconnecting them with the throughline of her evolving sound. I’ll Understand unfolds as a delicate acoustic folk track, understated and emotionally precise. Dare, co-written with The Psalms in Los Angeles, expands into a rock-electronic anthem, self-assured and propulsive. Colors of Your Eyes offers a softer register, blending folk-inflected songwriting with gentle rock textures and wistful intimacy.

Alongside the music, Ripsime unveils a limited-edition print conceived and crafted by her own hand. The artwork functions as a visual extension of the songs, mirroring their emotional textures through a tactile, cinematic lens. “I think art has to breathe in all directions,” she says. “It’s never just music for me, it’s an entire world.” The print underscores her role not only as a musician, songwriter, and producer, but as a visual artist expanding the boundaries of her creative practice.

That world now stretches across continents. Working between Yerevan and London, Ripsime has been writing and recording independently, drawing from the quiet of Armenia and the creative pulse of her hometown. “Finalising the records in London feels right,” she adds. “It feels incredible to be back. London is one of the greatest loves of my life, and I’ve been in such a cocoon the last couple of months in Yerevan working on these next release that it feels like a warm hug to be back in my city.”

She is currently completing two new records that reflect distinct currents within her artistry: one raw, acoustic, and intimate; the other more electronic, expansive, and textural. “I really want to be able to encapsulate both my sides, both my energies,” she explains. “Creating bodies of work to do that is important for me.”

In an era defined by overstimulation and fragmentation, Ripsime’s approach feels deliberate and grounded. Through RIP Records, her sound and visuals converge into a self-built universe where independence is not a trend, but a foundation. Her work points toward a broader redefinition of contemporary artistry: one where creating worlds matters as much as creating songs.
