The Polaris Music Prize Nominee Draws Her Forthcoming Album ‘Blood Moon’ Even Closer

Following the success of her single “Rain,” which received praise from Great Dark Wonder and Songlode, Polaris Music Prize nominee Steph Cameron continues to build momentum with the release of her new double single, “Whatever Questions You’re Asking” and “Summer Song.” These tracks bring her third studio album, Blood Moon, even closer.
“Whatever Questions You’re Asking” delves into trust and intimacy, while “Summer Song” celebrates the beauty of nature and spiritual renewal. Both tracks highlight Cameron’s signature emotional depth, using vivid imagery to connect with listeners on a personal level.
“‘Whatever Questions You’re Asking’ captures the magic of being on the land with someone you love,” says Cameron. “And ‘Summer Song’ is about losing yourself on the land and embracing its magic.”
Cameron’s debut, Sad-Eyed Lonesome Lady, was named the #1 Canadian album of the year by PopMatters, while her follow-up, Daybreak Over Jackson Street, earned rave reviews across the UK and Europe. She will support Blood Moon with a UK and European tour in May 2025, joining Abigail Lapell. The tour will include stops at London’s Jazz Café and across Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
